As the Senior Public Affairs and Communications Officer, Alex supports the Aldersgate group in disseminating and promoting the Group’s work amongst various audiences. He also leads on aspects of the Secretariat’s work on decarbonising transport and agriculture.

Before joining Aldersgate Group, Alex was a Public Affairs and Media Officer for WSP in the UK, a leading engineering and environmental professional services consultancy. Here he developed an understanding of climate-related issues across a range of sectors, including energy, transport, and buildings. Prior to this, Alex was the UK Government Affairs Researcher at BP plc. where he led on political horizon scanning and spent time in Brussels supporting their European Government Affairs team.

He holds a BSc Dual-Hons in Politics and Economics, from Aston University.
