Synopsis
This election is a crucial moment for climate and environmental policy in the UK. As global competition for green investment increases, it is imperative that the next government accelerates progress to ensure that we meet net zero and nature targets while maximising prosperity across the country.
The Aldersgate Group is hosting this event to gain insights from key figures from across the political spectrum on the offerings put forward by the major parties in their manifestos. Businesses are firmly on board with driving emissions reductions and improving the environment, but to play their part fully they need a stable policy landscape from the incoming government.
As the UK looks to tackle a number of challenges, from geopolitical instability to economic stagnation, it’s vital that we ensure climate and environmental action plays its part in solving these problems. The right approach can boost growth, improve energy security and drive down the cost of bills.
Places at this event will be confirmed a week ahead of the discussion. Capacity at our venue is limited. If we are oversubscribed priority will be given to close contacts and Aldersgate Group members.
